  1. To assess the role of AAPM and its members in the growing field of quantitative imaging as, e.g., it relates to imaging biomarkers, assessing disease states and/or response to therapy.
  2. To determine mechanisms for clarifying quantitative imaging, CAD, and quantitative image analysis
  3. To determine mechanisms for promoting AAPM and medical physics activities in QI in basic science research, translational research, clinical trials, and ultimately clinical practice (e.g., at annual meeting, in the MEDICAL PHYSICS journal [guest editorial], etc.)
  4. To further advance the field by interacting with other organizations (such as RSNA, ACR, etc.)
